Lee-Sean Huang

Lee-Sean Huang is an award-winning Taiwanese American designer, educator, and community builder based in Providence and New York City. He is Director of Design Content and Learning at AIGA, the largest professional design association in the US, teaches at Parsons and SVA, and co-founded Foossa, a service design and strategy consultancy. Previously, he founded the design practice at Purpose, advancing movements for an open and just world. His work explores design and democracy, collaborating with startups, non-profits, governments, and the UN on participation and play in shaping education, work, health, and civic life. A Harvard Government graduate with a master’s from NYU’s ITP, he serves on boards including the JET Alumni Association of New York. Beyond work, he makes music, and in 2021 published his street photography collection Look at the Beautiful.
